UALR finished the season 27-34 (8-16 OVC) but found its way into the postseason by winning the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. The Trojans won five games in four straight days to obtain a bid in the Baton Rouge Regional. After dropping the first game to LSU, UALR came back with a win over Rhode Island. After defeating Dallas Baptist to get to the regional final, the Trojans defeated the eventual national champs, 10-4, to force a Game 7. LSU ultimately won, 10-6, to advance to the super regionals, ending UALR’s magical run.

Dallas Baptist went 41-18 (21-6 CUSA) and took home the 2025 Conference USA Regular Season title. However, the Patriots recently upgraded from the CUSA to the Pac-12 this summer. DBU defeated Rhode Island in the Baton Rouge Regional Opener, 6-2, but lost to LSU in the 1-0 game, 12-0. Dallas Baptist's season ended at the hands of UALR, as previously mentioned.

The Hogs will also have their annual Fall Classic on Friday, Sept. 26, at Baum-Walker Stadium at 6 p.m. The intrasquad matchup is free to the public, and the gates will open an hour before first pitch.
