The NFL final roster cuts were today, and quite a few Razorbacks will not be on the 53-man roster.
Perhaps the most surprising move was Detroit's release of former Arkansas offensive tackle Dan Skipper. After starting his career as an undrafted free agent, the Arvada, Colo., native is entering his tenth season in the NFL. He’s bounced around seven different franchises, including four separate stints with the Lions. Aside from a lone season with the Texans, his time outside Detroit has been limited to practice squads.
Throughout the years, he's built quite a fan base in the Motor City and earned a backup role at both tackle positions.
Although he didn't finish his collegiate career with the Hogs, Raheim Sanders spent most of it in Fayetteville. Unfortunately, he didn't make the cut with the Los Angeles Chargers despite having a really good preseason performance.
