Finally, Arkansas' portal season is starting to go somewhere positive. The Razorbacks have landed South Carolina transfer Nick Pringle.
Nick Pringle commits to Arkansas
Pringle, a fifth-year senior who began his collegiate career at Wofford in 2020, brings extensive SEC and NCAA Tournament experience to Fayetteville. And he did it by grinding his way from an unranked high school prospect to one of the best forwards in the SEC.
After his freshman season at Wofford, where he averaged two points and 2.1 rebounds in 15 games, Pringle dropped to the junior college level. At Dodge City Community College, he worked his way back to the Division I level, ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect and No. 1 power forward in the Juco class.
Pringle spent two seasons with the Crimson Tide, helping Alabama to its first Final Four in school history. That year, the 6-foot-10, 220-pounder averaged 6.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and shot 62.3 percent from the floor in 18.2 minutes a game.
After helping Bama reach the Final Four, Pringle transferred to South Carolina, where he immediately secured a starting role. He continued to elevate his game in Columbia, averaging 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest before ultimately deciding to call the Hogs. His best performance of the season came against his new team, embarrassing Arkansas, 72-53. In that game, Pringle scored 18 points with 9 rebounds and two steals.
Pringle is the first player to commit to Arkansas in the 2025 portal class.
