The Pro Hogs are charging full speed into training camp, and at least one rookie is starting to turn heads. Former Razorback Isaac TeSlaa has made a name for himself in Detroit over the last few days.

Isaac TeSlaa impresses at Detroit Lions' training camp

In back-to-back days, he's gone viral for his highlight-worthy plays. TeSlaa's first moments popped up with a myriad of Detroit Lions' clips compiled into one video on Friday. In it, he caught a contested ball against eight-year veteran cornerback Avonte Maddox. He then outran five-year vet Dicaprio Bootle on a long post route in another clip.

Before Saturday's practice, Lions' head coach Dan Campbell seemed impressed with the Michigan native. "[First-round pick Dominic] Lovette has popped more early out on the field, but I thought TeSlaa had a really good day yesterday. ... He's gotta stack another good day, but that was good to see yesterday. And that's the first day of pads, by the way."

Well, Campbell received his wish. This time, instead of posting a compilation of highlights, the Lions' social media team gave TeSlaa his own video making a clutch grab near the endzone.

TeSlaa was one of the big surprises in the 2025 NFL Draft. He was the first Razorback off the board, including over Arkansas's star defensive end, Landon Jackson. Detroit selected TeSlaa with the 70th overall pick in the third round of the draft, only two picks higher than Jackson.

TeSlaa will have a chance to impress on the field for the first time in Detroit's first preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers on July 31.
