The No. 1 Arkansas Razorbacks (32-4; 12-2 SEC) failed to win the series in the second game of the weekend series against the No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs (31-6; 9-5 SEC) after dominating them in the first game at Foley Field in Athens. The Razorbacks proved that even when they do not perform even close to as well as they can, teams, including the best teams in the SEC and nation, like Georgia, will still have a challenging time defeating them.

Gabe Gaeckle put the Hogs in an early deficit they struggled to overcome. As disclosed by ESPN, in two innings of work, Gaeckle surrendered six hits, including a homer, and five earned runs. To be frank, Gaeckle had a horrible day on the mound. The most significant star of the game for the Razorbacks was Kuhio Aloy, who delivered two hits, including a massive home run. Ryder Helfrick also supplied a homer but had the strikeout that stranded the game-tying runner on third. Whether it was an authentic strikeout is debatable.

Although the No. 1 Arkansas Razorbacks fell short against the No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, losing 7-6, fans and media still shared positive reactions on social media.
