The Arkansas Razorbacks 15-11 (4-9 SEC) faced a mighty tough challenge as they went on the road to play the No. 1 Auburn Tigers 24-2 (12-1 SEC). As 15.5-point underdogs, the Hogs were not given much of a chance to win against the Tigers. However, Arkansas has been proving that it can defy huge odds.

In the first half, Arkansas played Auburn well. Unfortunately, the Hogs missed too many of its three-point shots in the first half and made some crushing turnovers, which allowed the Tigers to take a six-point lead into halftime, 33-27. In the second half, the Razorbacks played much better. The Hogs forced Auburn to compete until the last second of the game. Unfortunately, Arkansas failed to value the basketball and make free throws and three-point shots in the second half. ESPN disclosed that Arkansas made only 50% of its free throws and 15.8% of its three-point shots. The Hogs had 11 turnovers.

Given the Razorbacks' turnovers and poor shooting, they were unable to upset the Auburn Tigers. The Tigers edged the Hogs 67-60 in The Jungle. Fans and media on social media offered mixed reactions to the Razorbacks' performance.
