The Arkansas Razorbacks (22-13; 8-10 SEC) upset the St. John's Red Storm (31-5; 18-2 Big East) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Providence, Rhode Island. Although most of the hype about this game featured the legendary coaches John Calipari and Rick Pitino, the game itself will be what most people remember; it was a classic heavyweight fight.

Despite battling foul trouble, the Arkansas Razorbacks took a 35-32 lead into halftime. After halftime, the game moved back and forth in each team's favor. However, as Dr. Antonio Daniels, an Arkansas Razorbacks beat writer at FanSided's Razorbackers, predicted, the Hogs made several critical plays late to secure the upset over St. John's. The Razorbacks defeated the Red Storm 75-66.

According to ESPN, St. John's shot 28.0% from the field and 9.1% from behind the three-point line. Such poor shooting in the NCAA Tournament is not good enough to beat almost any team, especially not a team as talented as Arkansas. The Razorbacks' excellent performance against the Red Storm generated much excitement on social media.
