Another day, another chunk of Arkansas football's 2026 class has decommitted.

After losing three in the first two days since Sam Pittman's firing, the Razorbacks lost another four. Safety Adam Auston, defensive lineman Ari Slocum, and defensive lineman Carnell Jackson reneged on their pledges on Tuesday, while offensive tackle Ben Mubenga pulled his on Wednesday.

Altogether, Arkansas has lost seven commitments. Because of this mass exodus, the Hogs' 2026 recruiting class ranking has dropped from the mid-30s to No. 58 nationally.

Arkansas football loses four more 2026 prospects

Adam Auston

The Sooner State product was one of the first to commit to the Razorbacks. Announcing only a few moments after Arkansas' current top-rated recruit, Colton Yarbrough, Auston is a three-star prospect. He's also the No. 11 player in Oklahoma and the No. 54-ranked safety in the class, according to 247 Sports Composite.

Before committing to the Hogs, he received multiple FBS offers, including Baylor, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech. Vanderbilt was the only other SEC school to offer Auston.

Ari Slocum

Ari Slocum has been committed to the Razorbacks since January. Before, he held offers from SMU, Louisiana Tech, Purdue, Missouri, and Auburn. The 6-foot-3, 309-pounder ranks No. 26 in the Bayou State and No. 98 at his position, per 247 Sports Composite rankings. A native of Farmerville, La., Slocum was a three-star prospect.

Carnell Jackson

Auburn, Ala. Native Carnell Jackson committed to the Razorbacks in April. Arkansas and Kansas State were his only Power Four offers, but he chose the Hogs over teams like Western Kentucky, USF, Tulane, and Memphis. At 6-foot-3, 340 pounds, Jackson is a .8567 three-star, according to 247 Sports Composite. He ranks No. 65 in Alabama, No. 172 at his position, and No. 1615 nationally.

Ben Mubenga

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ben Mubenga committed to the Hogs in June after taking official visits to Florida State, NC State, and Georgia Tech. He also had offers from Texas A&M, Purdue, Pitt, Oregon, Missouri, Michigan, Maryland, Louisville, and Auburn.

Perhaps the most noteworthy school is LSU. Mubenga's brother, Paul, is an offensive tackle for the Tigers. However, in Ben's decommitment post, he did not include LSU.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound tackle is a three-star according to 247 Sports Composite. He's also ranked No. 1167 nationally, No. 116 in the Peach State, and No. 95 OT in the class.
