The 2026 recruiting class is unraveling quickly in the wake of defensive coordinator Travis Williams’ dismissal. Just hours after the news broke, Arkansas lost pledges from linebacker Caleb Gordon and its top remaining commit, linebacker JJ Bush.
They join wide receiver Keymian Henderson Jr., who backed out after Sam Pittman’s firing on Sunday. In total, Arkansas has now seen six decommitments since September, including its highest-ranked overall pledge, offensive tackle Bryce Gilmore.

Bush is a consensus four-star recruit out of Alabama, ranking No. 14 in the state. With a 0.9095 247Sports composite rating, he is the No. 17 linebacker and a top-300 player in the class.
Prior to committing to Arkansas, the Theodore, Ala., native held many Power Four offers. The Razorbacks could potentially face the 6-foot-3, 210-pounder every season, as both Missouri and LSU were in his top four teams.

Gordon, on the other hand, held fewer P4 offers. Arkansas was the only SEC team interested in the Ashbrook, N.C., native. However, he did receive offers from Virginia, Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech.
At 6-foot, 215 pounds, 247Sports composite rated him as a 0.8667 three-star and the No. 94 linebacker in the class. He was also outside the top 1,000 prospects, ranking No. 1,167.
