The No. 5 Arkansas Razorbacks 4-0 (0-0 SEC) did not enter Baum-Walker Stadium today to deliver a lackadaisical performance against the Washington State Cougars 0-4 (0-0 PAC-12). Instead, the Razorbacks entered the stadium with a conspicuous purpose: to dominate. Even though Washington State only played one good game in this series, the team has some talent, and it will be better as the season progresses. Therefore, the Hogs' wins against the Cougars will look better and better by the end of the regular season.

As in every game in this series, the Arkansas Razorbacks' pitchers demonstrated they are elite. For the second time in this series, Arkansas overwhelmed Washington State, leading to the game ending in a run-rule in the seventh inning. The Hogs defeated the Cougars 12-2. After Arkansas crushed Washington State in the fourth and final game of the series, sweeping the Cougars, fans and media were impressed with the team.
