Arkansas baseball looks to make history—How watch the 2025 MLB draft

The 2025 MLB draft is here, and many Razorbacks will likely hear their names called. Two in particular are primed to make history.

MLB draft projections unanimously have Wehiwa Aloy and Gage Wood selected in the first round. If that's the case, it would be the first time in Arkansas history that two players were taken in the first round. For months, media outlets viewed Aloy as a shoo-in for the first round, a status his performance to end the season and the Golden Spikes award have all but solidified. However, Wood's performance in the NCAA Tournament shot him up the MLB mock drafts, especially after his 19-strike, no-hitter against Murray State—the first in the College World Series since 1960.

Aloy and Woods are only two of the at least 11 Hogs likely to be selected in the 2025 MLB draft.
