The recent rash of Spring rains finally caught up with the Arkansas Razorbacks as the annual Spring Football Red and White Game and the weekend baseball series hosting the Texas A&M Aggies in Fayetteville spoiled any festivities planned this weekend. However one bright spot that continued to shine was Arkansas junior infielder Wehiwa Aloy who batted .500 with nine hit and six runs batted in over four games to earn Razobacker of the Week honors.

The 6-2, 200-pound native of Wailuku, Hawaii—who transferred to Arkansas this season from Sacramento State in California along with his twin brother Kuhio who transferred from Brigham Young University in Utah—finished the week by going nine-of-18 at the plate with while scoring six runs and the six RBIs on his nine hits.
"Last weekend, it was who it was, and, you know, (Charles) Davalan didn't have a great weekend last week, and he had a great three games this weekend," Razorback manager Dave Van Horn said. "Aloy has been good every weekend, and Kuhio has been pretty good, but then it's been just a little bit of here and there. We just need to get a few more guys rolling and we can put up some bigger innings."
Arkansas split the four games this week with a 13-3 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff last Tuesday and a 11-5 win in the first game of Friday's double header against Texas A&M. However, Arkansas lost the weekend SEC series to the visiting Aggies who won game one of the series 7-4 on Thursday and then took the series with a 9-2 win by the visitors in the second game of Friday's rain-drenched double header.
On the year, Wehiwa is batting .361 with 51 runs scored on 56 hits. Those totals include 12 home runs and 13 doubles on the year with a .690 slugging percentage and a .970 fielding percentage.

"Our shortstop (Aloy) just keeps making play after play, and we need to make sure that we continue to play really good defense," Van Horn said. "We've got to get a few guys going offensively."
