With the NCAA Tournament quickly approaching, the No. 3 national seed Razorbacks are preparing for the Fayetteville regional. The selection committee may have picked Arkansas as the third-best team heading into this weekend, but Las Vegas has a different opinion.

Arkansas the favorite to win the CWS

According to FanDuel, Arkansas has the best odds to win the College World Series. The Hogs are +470 favorites to host the trophy in June, with LSU, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, and Texas behind them. All but three in the top ten hail from the SEC conference. All five are national seeds.

Arkansas being the favorite makes sense. Overall, the Hogs are arguably the most well-rounded team in the country, with an incredible offense when it's on fire. Plus, while it's one of the hardest regional draws, the path to Omaha is promising.

To get to the CWS, it's an uphill battle, but it's not the worst situation. The Razorbacks will have to win its regional with Kansas, Creighton, and North Dakota State traveling to Fayetteville this weekend. While the NDSU isn't exactly the most frightening opponent, Creighton and Kansas have a little more bite to their bark.

Even though they won more conference games than anyone, the Jayhawks were not considered the regular season Big 12 champs. They're a sneaky good team and can hit the cover off the ball, knocking out 100 homers this season. Creighton owned the Big East and gained a few big-time wins against high-major teams along the way.

Luckily for Arkansas, they have to play each other before playing the Razorbacks. With the way they both hit, they'll likely pitch their aces while Arkansas can afford to rest Zach Root if needed. And if the Hogs win their regional, Tennessee is most likely the next opponent to travel to Fayetteville, and we all saw how that played out at the end of the regular season.
