The Arkansas baseball team has earned the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Razorbacks managed to stay in the top three despite losing four of their last six SEC series and losing in the first round of the SEC Tournament.
Arkansas baseball: Fayetteville Regional
To put it lightly, the Fayetteville Regional will be a tough one. Kansas is the No. 2 seed in the Regional. But with the most wins in the Big 12, it only lost the regular season championship title to West Virginia because the Mountaineers (who Kansas swept in the regular season) played few conference games and beat the Jayhawks in winning percentage. Kansas was the only Big 12 school to win 20+ conference games this season.
Creighton is the outright Big East champ after taking the regular season title and winning the conference's tournament. The Blue Jays won 41 games this season, with two victories over Nebraska and another over Kansas State. However, they did record a loss against the fourth and final member of the Fayetteville Regional.

Finishing third in the Summit League, North Dakota State made a run in the conference tournament and won. It earned the Bison an NCAA Tournament bid in spite of their 20-32 record.
On the other side of the bracket, the Regional that matches up with the Fayetteville Regional is the Knoxville Regional. Potentially, the Hogs could face Tennessee for another series in Fayetteville, and undoubtedly, Vols head coach Tony Vitello will look for revenge after Arkansas knocked them off at the end of the regular season. Miami (OH), Wake Forest, and Cincinnati are also in contention to win the regional.
