Arkansas fans held their breath after a scary moment to start the fourth quarter against Ole Miss. Razorback corner Kani Walker took a knee to the back of his head while making a tackle down the home sideline and did not get up after the play.

After his teammates said their goodbyes, the Oklahoma transfer was carted off the field after a 12-minute stoppage in the game. On his way out, Walker raised his arm and gave a thumbs-up to a roaring crowd of classy Rebel fans.
Arkansas stopped Ole Miss short of the end zone on the drive after play resumed, but the hogs still allowed a field goal. When the coverage came back from the break, the sideline reporter, Taylor McGregor, gave fans an update on Walker. She said that he was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, but was moving all extremities. She also added that the coaching staff stated that it was a precautionary measure.

Before his injury, Walker was the third-leading tackler for Arkansas. He had six tackles, including five solo.
