This offseason has been a wild ride.

The Razorbacks have landed the best available and second-best overall transfer in the portal. Jeff Goodman of Field 68 reported that Florida Atlantic guard Johnell has committed to Arkansas. It was only yesterday that coach John Calipari successfully recruited Jonas Aidoo to join the Hogs.

In Davis' time at Florida Atlantic, he helped lead the program to its first Final Four in only its second appearance in the tournament, another appearance the following year, and a Conference USA championship.

Last season, the Gary, Ind. native knocked down 48.3 percent of his shots, including 3-pointers at a 36.6 percent clip. He averaged 18.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.4 steals a game.

According to Goodman, Arkansas is offering a gaudy NIL deal in excess of $1 million. Otherwise, the FAU star most likely would have opted for the NBA.

His commitment propelled Arkansas' recruiting class to the No. 3 spot per 247 Sports ranks. The Hogs are behind only Duke and Alabama with just six recruits.
