The offensive line has lost some depth as Paris Patterson entered the transfer portal yesterday, per Arkansas insider Easton May on X (Twitter). Patterson is the sixth Hog to enter the transfer portal since the spring window opened.

As a recruit, Patterson was a three-star prospect according to 247Sports Composite rankings but was a Top 250 recruit at one point, according to Rivals. He was the tenth-highest-ranked recruit of the 2023 class and second-ranked offensive lineman behind Luke Brown.

His time at Arkansas hasn't gone as he planned. The 350-pounder saw little action last season, eventually redshirting, and he was passed up on the depth chart by transfers and younger players during spring practice. Consequently, Patterson saw his snaps dwindle this spring, playing most of his snaps with the third team.

Patterson joins quarterback Jacolby Criswell, running back Isaiah Augustave, and punter Max Fletcher as players who announced their departures after the spring game. Offensive lineman Andrew Chamblee and defensive end Jashaud Stewart have also officially entered the portal but left the team before spring drills.

With the additions of Florida State transfer Rodney Hill and former Jaxon State Linebacker Larry Worth, Arkansas has seven scholarships remaining.
