Arkansas gained a huge head start in the first half, leading 21-7. The only time Oklahoma State had any momentum was on a pick-six, giving them their only score of the half. Unfortunately, as the old saying goes, the Hogs are gonna Hog.

The offense couldn't quit shooting themselves in the foot. From bad snaps to turnovers to friendly fire on punt return to stupid penalties on defense, the Razorbacks imploded in the final 30 minutes. They had one driver worth praise, a three-play, 75-yarder that gave Luke Hasz his first reception of the day.

Arkansas outgained the Pokes 648 yards to 385 and held them to 59 total yards rushing. But the secondary was awful in the second half, giving up 262 yards. The defensive line hardly pressured Oklahoma State, too, recording zero quarterback hurries. To the Cowboys' credit, the offensive staff made great adjustments out of the half, including relying more on the passing game. Arkansas did a good job stopping Ollie Gordon, but in the end, it was Gordon who had the last laugh.

There's no question Arkansas has a good offense, but under adversity, they started to crack. To a point, that's to be expected with a team with so many new pieces. However, mental errors have been a theme under Sam Pittman. There needs to be better preparation for those situations, especially with the coaches.
