Arkansas is 2-1 to start the season. The Razorbacks' win over UAB yesterday was ugly, but a win nevertheless. The Hogs must move forward after the last two weeks and focus on their first conference game of the season: the Auburn Tigers.

Luckily, all of us at Razorbackers aren't on the team. Here, we'll look back at who contributed to the lackluster performance. We'll also look at why Arkansas overcame the two-touchdown deficit. Here are this week's Studs and Duds.

Studs and Duds: UAB

Studs

Ja'Quinden Jackson

The definition of a 'Workhorse running back' in the dictionary has a picture of Ja'Quinden Jackson. He's had 47 rushes for 397 yards, averaging an incredible 8.4 yards a carry. In last night's game alone, he had 147 yards on 15 carries for one touchdown. That's nearly ten yards per carry.

Jackson is currently the fifth-leading rusher in the country behind Kaleb Johnson (Iowa), Ashton Jeanty (Boise State), RJ Harvey (UCF), and Omarion Hampton (UNC). And out of those four RBs, only Jeanty has more YPC than Jackson. However, only Jackson has to share carries with another prolific runner in the backfield.
