Arkansas came away with a 37-27 victory against UAB on Saturday, but it was anything but an easy game for a Razorback squad that looked uninspiring and flat in front of their home crowd.

A slow start saw Arkansas fall behind by as many as 14 points in the second quarter, but Arkansas' offense eventually got into gear, tying the game at 20 as the teams went into the locker room. A strong second half from the Hogs earned Arkansas their second win of 2024, but there's plenty to for Sam Pittman to improve on before a road trip to Auburn next week.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

The Good: Arkansas' run game is elite

A season ago, saying this statement in the vicinity of an Arkansas fan would've earned you a funny look. Arkansas' offensive line is perhaps the biggest year over year improvement for Sam Pittman's squad. The Razorbacks' running back room is also much better than its 2023 counterpart, as evidenced by Ja'Quinden Jackson's third consecutive 100-yard game to open the season. Quarterback Taylen Green added 96 yards - a figure that would be well over 100 without sacks - and two rushing touchdowns of his own, proving that the run game is Arkansas' path to success this season.
