What an exciting week of college football! We have some major changes to this week's College Football Playoff predictions.

We can’t start any other way than talking about Georgia at Alabama. It’s a shame the game took place so early in the season because it will be hard to top that performance. Alabama had its way with Georgia the entire first half, but the Bulldogs clawed back into the game with a few minutes to spare. With 2:31 left on the clock, Carson Beck hit Dillon Bell on a 67-yard dime for the go-ahead score. However, on the very next play from scrimmage, Jalen Milroe hit the 17-year-old sensation Ryan Williams for the game-winning touchdown.

As you'll see, that game alone had major implications for the CFP outlook.

Texas had already overtaken Georgia in week three. Now, the Bulldogs drop to number No. 8 in this week's CFP rankings. Alabama takes its place at No. 5.

Another SEC team drops completely out after showing the country its true colors. Ole Miss has had one of the easiest schedules in the country, but because they put up an incredible amount of points, they fooled college football fans into thinking they were elite. The Rebels lost to Kentucky 21-20 on Saturday. Granted, Kentucky gave Georgia troubles, too, but it was Ole Miss’ first real test, and they failed. Until they can prove they deserve it, they’ll be off the CFP rankings.

Another team that fooled us was Oklahoma State. Fans should’ve known they were pretenders when they had trouble knocking off Arkansas at home. But now the Cowboys are going to conference play with little to look forward to the season.

The new faces this week are Iowa State and Oregon. The Cyclones are making their first appearance in the CFP predictions. They're 4-0 with almost no one of note between them and the Big 12 championship game until their second-to-last opponent, Oklahoma State. On the other hand, Oregon has made its second appearance after a dominant 34-13 win over UCLA.
