8. Desi Sills

Here's another Arkansas guy from Jonesboro, Ark. Unlike Ford, Sills was a multi-game starter for three seasons. He was fun, energetic, and played with a chip on his shoulder. As a 6-foot-2-inch guard in the SEC, Sills had to play bigger than himself.

In his sophomore season, he averaged 10.6 points a game and made 42.5 percent of his shots. He also bumped up his playing time from 17 minutes a game during his freshmen season to 31.2. However, in the 2020-21 season, newcomers like transfer Jalen Tate and freshman Moses Moody and Devo Davis increasingly gained more playing time, reducing Sills' average to 20.7 minutes a game.

Sills initially committed to Auburn but went home to Jonesboro and joined the Red Wolves at Arkansas State, then to Kansas State. He played 30 minutes a game at both destinations and maintained an average of 44+ percent from the field.
