9. Derrian Ford
Ford's time at Arkansas was filled with inconsistent play and very little opportunity to get on the court. However, every time he was on the floor, his motor was unmatched. He was fun to watch, and with development, he might've become a star player. But that really wasn't Musselman's strategy, so instead, we watched an instate kid transfer to Arkansas State.
As an Arkansas guy, Ford was immediately a fan favorite in his class. Unfortunately, his stays in Fayetteville didn't go as planned and he left for greener pastures. He's found much success in his first season at Arkansas State, starting in 31 of 36 games and averaging 10.4 points a game at a 41 percent clip. He'll be joined by another former instate Razorback, Joseph Pinion, for the 2024-25 season.
