In a season marked by injuries and inconsistent play, freshman guard Karter Knox has emerged as one of the Arkansas Razorbacks' most consistent players down the stretch of the 2025 Southeastern Conference (SEC) regular season and earns this week's Razorbacker of the Week Award as the only player to score in double figures in both games.
Knox contributed 12 points, two rebounds and two assists in Wednesday's 86-81 home win over the Texas Longhorns at Bud Walton Arena. On Saturday he had a team-high 11-point, five-assist and two-steals effort in a one-sided road loss at South Carolina on Saturday.
"He was never in doubt of playing in his mind. Those are the type guys you win with. Guys that will fight through the nagging injuries, to come out and help you win."John Calipari
Karter Knox's double figure efforts
After the Texas win on Wednesday, Razorback coach John Calipari, whose team was playing without their two leading scorers on the season in Adou Thiero and Boogie Fland, revealed he was greatful for Knox's availability despite being in an accident leading up to the game.

"Karter had a a little accident (Tuesday) where he wasn't able to practice, and he fought through and got his treatment and got healthy enough to come out and play (Wednesday)," Calipari said. "And he was never in doubt of playing in his mind. Those are the type guys you win with. Guys that will fight through the nagging injuries, to come out and help you win."
The freshman out of Riverview, Florida followed Calipari as an incoming high school recruit when the coach left Kentucky a year ago to come to Arkansas. Averaging 7.8 games on the year, he's now scored 11 points or more in each of the team's last five contests while scoring eight or more in nine of the last 10 games.
His five assists on Saturday was a season high and he's matched the two steals with in four of his last 10 games.
"I think Karter played really well for us," Calipari said. "He attacked (Texas). He put them on their heels. He drew fouls like you said. He went to the free throw line. Somebody else may have played better at a stretch or had success at a stretch that allowed us to keep him on the bench or whatever. But Karter played great. We need Karter Knox."
