Although the Aloy brothers produced excitement for Arkansas, the Razorbacks did not give their fans much to cheer about against Kansas State.

The No. 5 Arkansas Razorbacks 4-1 (0-0 SEC) needed to show improved batting as they clashed with the Kansas State Wildcats 2-4 (0-0 Big 12). Although the Wildcats were the underdogs in this contest against the Hogs, Kansas State came on the field believing they could pull off the upset.

Although Arkansas was able to excite its fans with two home runs by the Aloy brothers, Kansas State benefitted from excellent pitching, especially from its starting pitcher, Jacob Frost. The Wildcats' pitchers held the Razorbacks to only two runs. Kansas State scored three runs, propelling it to a 3-2 upset victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. Fans and media on social media expressed mixed reactions to Kansas State upsetting the No. 5 Arkansas Razorbacks.
