When will it be enough?

The usual suspects showed up for the Arkansas game today: untimely penalties, unforced errors, and horrible clock management, among other things. The Razorbacks lose to Mizzou again, 28-21.

There wasn't another more poetic way for the Hogs to cap off the year. Everything about the game epitomized the season Arkansas fans witnessed in 2024. Arkansas lost the turnover battle 2-0, with another fumble the Razorbacks recovered. Despite the lopsided stat, Arkansas stayed within striking distance of winning the game, inevitably crushing the hopes of Hog fans everywhere.

Fans can have horrible time management to thank for that. Arkansas burned two time-outs at the end of the game to preserve time in case Missouri took the lead, which they did on an untouched, 30-yard quarterback draw. Then, when Arkansas couldn've benefited from a stoppage, the coaching staff hung onto it like they could take it into the bowl game.

There's no one person to blame. It was a total team effort to lose that game. The Razorbacks will play one more time in the postseason. The bowl game selections will be released on Selection Sunday after the conference championship games end.
