Defense is playing a significant role in this year's Battle Line Rivalry. The teams going into halftime all tied up at seven points a piece.

Arkansas has kept the Tigers in check so far. They allowed one touchdown after giving up most of the field via penalties, leading to an easy 2-yard run for Mizzou running back Marcus Carrol. Other than that drive, the Hogs have held Missouri to 107 total yards.

With the snow on the ground, Mizzou head coach Eli Drinkwitz seems afraid to put the ball in the air, despite it being the best way to attack Arkansas's defense. The Tigers have attempted six passes, completing three for 23 yards.

The Hogs have more or less shot themselves in the foot (shocker). Arkansas has had untimely penalties, it's turned the ball over on downs, and it's given up a fumble, all in the first half.

And now, the Razorbacks will most likely have to play without their best defensive player. Landon Jackson went down with what looked like a head/neck injury and had to be carted off the field. Thankfully, it looked like he was moving both legs shortly after the injury occurred.
