The No. 11 Arkansas Razorbacks (40-9, 17-7 SEC) swept the No. 1 Texas Longhorns (38-8, 19-5 SEC) in a three-game series at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville. While the first two games featured the Hogs' dominant pitching, Game 3 showcased their elite hitting. Arkansas defeated Texas 13-8 in Game 3.
When Landon Beidelschies starts for the Razorbacks, Arkansas's batters must be prepared to score runs. He must improve as the Hogs have two challenging series remaining in the regular season: LSU on the road and Tennessee at home. In 4.0 innings, Beidelschies surrendered four runs and four hits and delivered four strikeouts. In relief for Beidelschies, Ben Bybee pitched 1.0 inning, allowed three runs and three hits, and had one strikeout.
Dylan Carter pitched the next 2.2 innings and did an excellent job. Carter did not allow the Longhorns to score and had two strikeouts. Christian Foutch entered to close the game, allowed one hit, which was a homer, and delivered two strikeouts.
While Arkansas's pitching left much to be desired in Game 3, the team had an explosive performance at the plate. Reese Robinett was the true offensive star of the game. He had two hits, which both were homers, and six RBIs. Kuhio Aloy, Charles Davalan, and Justin Thomas Jr. each had a home run. Therefore, Arkansas generated much excitement at the plate for Razorback Nation.
Razorback Nation shared many ecstatic reactions on social media after an exciting day at Baum-Walker Stadium, where the No. 11 Arkansas Razorbacks swept the No. 1 Texas Longhorns.
