The Arkansas Razorbacks 16-11 (5-9 SEC) faced the mighty talented No. 15 Missouri Tigers 20-7 (9-5 SEC) in Bud Walton Arena. After the Hogs had a disappointing close loss against the No. 1 Auburn Tigers in The Jungle, they were eager to add another impressive win to their NCAA Tournament resume. Arkansas recognizes it is a "bubble team." Therefore, the team understood that a win against Missouri would shine brightly on its resume to the NCAA Tournament's selection committee.

ESPN BET Sportsbook revealed that Arkansas was a 1.5-point underdog against the Missouri Tigers. However, ESPN Analytics gave the Hogs a 54.2% chance to upset the Tigers. While the Arkansas Razorbacks played well for much of the first half, the Tigers closed the first half much better than them. Missouri took a seven-point lead into halftime. However, in the second half, Arkansas refused to be denied the upset on its home court. ESPN divulged that the Razorbacks outscored Missouri 51-37 in the second half, leading to a 92-85 victory for Arkansas.
