The Arkansas Razorbacks 5-5 (3-4 SEC) are seeking to become bowl-eligible as they play their last home game of the season against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 4-6 (3-4 CUSA).

Penalties have plagued the Hogs all season. As an unfortunate reminder of this reality, Rodney Hill returned the opening kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown that was nullified by a holding call on C.J. Brown, an Arkansas wide receiver. This penalty led to the Razorbacks starting their opening drive on their own five-yard line.

Both teams have performed poorly. As the first quarter ended, the game was scoreless, as ESPN reported.

The Razorbacks must improve their offensive performance to avoid an embarrassing upset. Although it was argued that the Bulldogs could not stymie the Hogs’ offense, they kept them from scoring in the first quarter.
