At some point tonight, you had to feel bad for MD Eastern Shore, but watching the Hogs finally dominate a game made it worth it.

Arkansas took the Hogs-by-90 mantra by heart today, beating the Hawks 109-35 in Bud Walton Arena. According to Hogstats.com, it's the third-highest win margin in Razorback history.

All players who logged significant minutes scored double-digit, with true freshman Karter Knox leading the team in points (21). Since the season started, Knox hasn't been afraid to pull the trigger from deep, but he has been incredibly ineffective, beginning 1-15. Tonight, he was 3-8. Johnell Davis was another promising newcomer whose shots weren't falling. But he had an incredible bounce-back game, going 5-8 from the field and 4-7 from the three-point line.

It was another freshman who led the unselfish Razorbacks as they bested MD Eastern Shore 23-3 in the category. Boogie Fland had a team-high six, but Davis and rising star Adou Thiero trailed closely with four and five, respectively.

Tiredness didn't seem to be an issue against the Hawks like it has been for the past few games. Arkansas was as fierce on defense as ever, spanning all 40 minutes. It held MD Eastern Shore to a measly 23 percent from the floor and generated 31 points off of turnovers.

However, the Hogs did play Trevon Brazile for 12 minutes. The electric big recorded only two points, but they were an exclamation mark denoting his arrival. He was also good on defense, with at least one unrecorded block and more shots altered in the paint.

Arkansas has another test on Thursday. The Hogs will play Illinois on Thanksgiving Day. It's the second Power Four team they've played in the nonconference. It's just the beginning of a four-game stretch that includes two more: Miami and Michigan. Fans will know pretty early what kind of team John Calipari has put together.
