Arkansas basketball's first major casualty of the transfer portal season has happened. Zvonimir Ivisic entered the portal Monday afternoon, four days after the Razorbacks' season ended. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

The 7-foot-2 Croatian first signed with John Calipari at Kentucky but sat most of the season due to eligibility concerns. In his first colligate start, Ivisic knocked down five of seven baskets — three from the 3-point line — and pulled down five boards and blocked three shots.

When Calipari took the job at Arkansas, Ivisic followed. He began the season scoring double-digits in seven of his first eight games as a Razorback but struggled with injuries throughout the season. Later in the season, Ivisic eclipsed 20-point nights three times against Alabama, LSU, and his second game versus Missouri.

Before moving to the States, Ivisic played for SC Berby in Croatian, averaging 3.4 points a game.

Big Z finished his career as a Hog, shooting 47 percent from the field, including 37 percent from behind the arc. Despite the multiple double-digit scoring nights for the big man, he was hit or miss all season long, averaging 8.5 points a game. On the other hand, Ivisic led the team in blocks with 66 (1.8 per game) and averaged a solid 4.3 rebounds.

With Ivisic in the portal, Coach Calipari is left short-handed in the frontcourt for next season. Jonas Aidoo has run out of eligibility, so all that remains is Trevon Brazile. However, with the transfer portal and the NBA Combine on the table, Brazile may test the waters again.

So far, Ivisic is the only Razorback who has played significant minutes and has announced his intentions for next season. Aidoo and Johnell Davis are out of eligibility, but DJ Wagner, Karter Knox, Billy Richmond III, Boogie Fland, Adou Thiero, and Brazile have yet to announce their decisions. Freshman Casmir Chavis has also entered the transfer portal.
