Despite the loss to Alabama, Arkansas basketball has been on a roll through the last few games. After starting 0-5 to start SEC play, the Hogs are 3-2 with wins over Georgia, Kentucky, and Texas. But for the first time this season, the Razorbacks are facing a foe that's bested them once before: LSU. Now, they're looking to get revenge.
Since the last time Arkansas and LSU played, the Tigers have lost six in a row, two of which the Hogs have already beaten. And now, LSU has to come into Bud Walton Arena to face a team that's found momentum.
When the teams met in Baton Rouge, Arkansas jumped out to an early 12-point lead, but like many times at the beginning of the season, the Hogs gave it up before halftime. Tiger's star guard burnt Arkansas, scoring 27 points and knocking down 3/6 from deep.
On the other hand, the Razorbacks had five players in double figures, with Boogie Fland leading the team with 19. However, with Fland out for the season, won't have him to lean on. Thankfully, the Hogs have adapted well to life without Fland, especially Zvonimir Ivisic.
