Alabama vs. Arkansas- Box Score Analysis
A Game of Runs
As they say, basketball is a game of runs, and Alabama and Arkansas each had a massive run in the second half. After halftime, Alabama came out firing on all cylinders going on a 22-8 run giving them an 18-point lead with 12:17 left on the clock. It looked like Arkansas was dead in the water, with little hope of a comeback.
However, Arkansas wasn't going down without a fight. From the 6:29 mark down to the 0:05 mark, Arkansas had pulled off a wild 24-8 run, cutting the deficit to two points. A few mistakes cost Arkansas the game, but they fought hard to the end.
Defensive Playmaking
Defense has been a strength for the Hogs this season. They were more inconsistent against the high-powered Alabama offense, but their off-ball defense and defensive playmaking ability were evident. They forced Alabama to cough up the ball 14 times, including nine steals. They also blocked seven shots as they are one of the best shot-blocking teams in the nation.
Player Standouts
Zvonimir Ivisic had the best game of his collegiate career recording 27 points, seven rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. He went on a shooting spree making five three-pointers including a nasty step-back corner three. His floor spacing as a big man is invaluable for this Razorback offense.

Adou Thiero also had a great game posting 22 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. His aggressiveness and strength were evident on both sides of the ball. He gets into the paint and either gets good looks at the basket or can draw fouls. He can also make highlight plays using his athleticism to get the offensive rebound and hammer it home.
