After going winless on the road last week, the Hogs are liming back to Bud Walton Arena with an 0-5 SEC record. Arkansas will now face a hot Georgia team that beat Kentucky 82-69 a couple of weeks ago.
The Bulldogs are one of the only teams the Razorbacks have to face with a backcourt member leading in scoring. Asa Newell, a former five-star true freshman, will be the star of the show for Georgia. He's put up double-digit points in all but one game, scoring nine against Marquette and missing the mark by one point.
While they're not a great three-point team, Newell more than makes up for it with his presence in the paint, giving Arkansas's bigs a test in the post. But with a couple of sharpshooters still on its roster, Georgia will still force Arkansas to respect the three-point line on defense.
Tonight is a pivotal game for the Hogs. To avoid its worst conference start since the 1970-71 season, Arkansas will have to win without its star point guard, with Boogie Fland's injury reportedly sidelining him for the rest of the season, somehow, Arkansas will have to find a way to right the ship without its starting point guard.
