Saturday's game was hard to watch. Amid turmoil and heartache, two players shined through and should be recognized as the Hogs of the Week.
The first is one who's struggled all year after an off-season full of hype. Luke Hasz has been dealing with a back injury since Oklahoma State which has affected his performance.
At one point, some thought he could be the next Brock Bowers. Although that ship has basically sailed this season, with three games left and one win away from a post-season bid, Hasz becoming another option for Taylen Green couldn't have happened faster.
Hasz finished with five receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown in Arkansas's loss to Ole Miss. However, it's his second game in a row with a score and at least 50 yards receiving.
Having two Hogs of the Week happens once in a blue moon, but this week, another great performance went under the radar because of the ugly final score. Andrew Armstrong had another 130-plus receiving-yard game, his fourth of the season. It's almost criminal that the former FCS transfer has that many dominant performances yet has one touchdown reception.
Armstrong averaged 22.5 yards a catch on Saturday, burning the Rebels secondary for 135 yards. He's been the workhorse of the passing game and the most consistent WR on the team. With Louisiana Tech and Missouri left on the schedule, don't be surprised if Saturday isn't the last time you see a performance like that.
