Arkansas football transfer portal target #3: Alabama OL Damieon George

When you hire Sam Pittman as your head coach, you believe that your offensive line will field a powerful, productive offensive line. For much of this season, that held true for Arkansas football.

Part of why the offensive line was so successful was the amount of experience they had in that unit. However, that will change as the Razorbacks lose both Ricky Stromberg and Dalton Wagner and could potentially lose Luke Jones.

While there are many young, inexperienced offensive linemen under scholarship for next year, adding another wouldn’t hurt. It hurts even less when that transfer player is a 6’6″ and 333-pound utility lineman from a division rival like Damieon George.

George has not seen much game action with the Crimson Tide, but he would come to Arkansas football with two years of eligibility remaining. And what’s the one thing experience can’t teach you? That enormous frame he has.

Besides, the last little-used Alabama transfer was pretty, pretty special.
