We are officially less than one month away until we find out which team will draft Arkansas Football player Treylon Burks in the 2022 NFL Draft.

The NFL offseason has been extremely busy, with countless trades, blockbuster free agent signings and cuts— moves that all impact an NFL team’s draft needs.

The NFL mock draft boards are constantly shifting and now that the most of the biggest names in the offseason have landing spots, it’s time to check-in on where Treylon Burks could be playing football next season.

Arkansas Football WR Treylon Burks should be taken in first round of NFL Draft

If he is one of the first 32 player selected in the draft, Burks would end a four-year drought of the Arkansas football team not having a round one selection in an NFL Draft.

The last Razorback to be taken in the first round of the draft was in 2018 when Frank Ragnow, a center, was selected No. 20 overall by the Detroit Lions.

Here is what some of the major publications are saying about Burks and possible draft spots for one of the greatest wide receivers to ever come out of Arkansas.

Sports Illustrated

No 19. Philadelphia Eagles

SI believes Burks, paired with former Heisman Trophy winner and former SEC wide receiver cohort DeVonta Smith, would be a dynamic receiving duo.

“While not a polished route-runner, the former Razorback said that he tries to mimic his game after Deebo Samuel, and it’s easy to see Samuel’s versatility in Burks,” Sports Illustrated wrote.

Bleacher Report

No 21. New England Patriots

If selected to the Patriots, Burks would join a long list of former Razorbacks to play for legendary coach Bill Belichick. Burks would be teaming up with former Arkansas football player Hunter Henry, who is the starting tight end for the five-time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.

“The Patriots needs to add size and vertical ability in their receiver room and would get it with Burks,” Nate Tice of Bleach Report wrote in a recent mock draft.

A Mac Jones to Treylon Burks combo would be incredibly fun to watch from a fan perspective.

FanSided NFL Mocks

No 22. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers recently acquired a treasure trove of draft picks from the Las Vegas Raiders in a deal for star wideout Davante Adams.

FanSided believes the Packers will use it to select Arkansas stud Treylon Burks with the No. 22 overall pick.

Catching passes downfield from one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time in Aaron Rodgers would have to be any wide receivers dream come true.

” He is a solid route runner, has great hands, is outstanding with the ball in his hands and has shown the speed to finish plays on tape. Don’t forget, Burks was incredibly productive this season, dashing his way through SEC defenses. Yes, even Alabama,” Fansided’s A.J. Fagerlin wrote.

ESPN

No 26. Tennessee Titans

The Titans have had a busy offseason at the wide receiver position, but that won’t stop them from taking someone like Treylon Burks, according to ESPN’s draft experts.

The Warren, Ark. native could have yet another SEC connection if taken by the Titans. His quarterback in Nashville would be former Texas A&M standout Ryan Tannehill.

“Burks is 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, and he plays a physical style. Ryan Tannehill would love to have someone like him in the red zone, and I think he’s a perfect fit for the Titans,” ESPN wrote.
