Jimmy Fallon picked Vermont to upset the Hogs and Coach Muss kept the receipts

Arkansas Basketball Coach Eric Musselman had some fun on Twitter at the expense of Jimmy Fallon after the Round 1 March Madness win over Vermont

The king of college basketball coaching Twitter, also known as Arkansas Basketball Head Coach Eric Musselman, was fired up after the Razorbacks survived a round one scare in the 2022 March Madness tournament against Vermont.

Arkansas, the fourth seed in the West Region, pulled out a 75-71 win over the 2022 America East Conference champion Vermont Catamounts— who were slotted in as a No. 13 seed in the region.

Not long after the game ended, Musselman, an avid Twitter user, pulled up a tweet from the official NCAA March Madness account that featured Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon’s complete tournament bracket predictions.

The March Madness account highlighted for of his picks in the tweet, summarizing that Fallon believes Tennessee will go to the Final Four, Purdue will go to the Final Four, Gonzaga will win it all and that Vermont would upset Arkansas in the first round.

Musselman saw the tweet and reminded him to not quit his day job anytime soon, tweeting, “You’re a funny guy @jimmyfallon! #WPS”

Musselman saw some of the experts and celebrities picking against the Razorbacks and kept those receipts.

It was a fun moment to see Musselman sticking up for the Razorbacks and letting the rest of the country know that they expect to perform and perform well in the 2022 NCAA Men’s March Madness tournament.

Arkansas has a tough match-up ahead.

They’re slotted to play a Cinderella team in No. 12 New Mexico State on March 19 at 7:40 p.m. CT on TNT— a team that just upset No. 5 UConn in round one.
