The Arkansas Basketball team suffered its first loss in nine games when they fell 67-68 on the road to Alabama.

Although the Crimson Tide have nine losses this season, they have wins against some of the top teams in all of college basketball: Gonzaga, Baylor, Houston and Tennessee.

The Razorbacks knew they were going to be competing against a tough team, they were 5.5-point underdogs entering the game.

Let’s take a look at some key stats that contributed to Arkansas falling to the Tide in this late-season match-up.

The Razorbacks got torched by Alabama’s bench

Arkansas has struggled with depth for most of the season, evident by Head Coach Eric Musselman refusing to go much deeper than three or four players in to the bench.

The Razorbacks got just eight points from their bench against the Tide, four of which came from Devo Davis.

Alabama, on the other hand, was able to record 29 points from its bench. More than half of those bench points came from two players: Charles Bediako (9 points) and James Rojas (8 points).
