The Arkansas football team came so very close to upsetting Alabama in the penultimate game of the 2021 season.

There is some value in getting close against Alabama but not defeating them: the Hogs pulled off an incredible trick play against the usually disciplined Tide, people are questioning if Bama deserves a spot in the College Football Playoff and this was great from a recruiting standpoint.

Before we turn our attention to the final regular season game of 2021, let’s take a look at some possible Bowl Game invites and opponents the Razorbacks could see next month.

Arkansas football vs Wisconsin

Outback Bowl

The Hogs could be bound for a visit to Tampa, Fla. in the Outback Bowl, according to Pro Football Network. In that bowl, they could face Wisconsin (8-3) of the Big 10 Conference.

Wisconsin, which started out the year by losing three of their first four games, have had quite the turnaround. They are currently riding a seven-game winning streak entering the final contest of the season at Minnesota.

Wisconsin has done a great job of defending the run game, allowing just 707 total rushing yards this season, according to CBS Sports. Their opponents are gaining just 2.2 yards per carry, which the Hogs would love to challenge.
