2. Arkansas football linebacker Grant Morgan was phenomenal

The senior linebacker had one of his best games of the season against the Bulldogs. The Burlsworth Trophy nominee anchored a defense that held Mississippi State to 28 points.

Morgan had a big-time interception in the second quarter, only the second one he’s grabbed in his career at Arkansas.

The senior also had a huge tackle that made the entire crowd at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium pop with fervor.

The linebacker and captain of the defense, helped the team hold the line at the end of the game, not allowing the Bulldogs to score a game-winning touchdown.

The defense forced Mississippi State to attempt a game typing field goal as time expired, which they missed and allowed the Hogs to get the upset over the No. 17 Bulldogs.
