No 3. The Razorbacks’ defense will repeat the success they had against the Air Raid in 2020

The Razorbacks will face one of the most prolific passing quarterbacks in the SEC and a brilliant offensive schemer in Will Rogers and Mike Leach, respectively.

Arkansas’ defense should have a goal of not giving up any big plays and keeping Rogers passes short and as close to the line of scrimmage as possible.

The Hogs have three of the 10 top tacklers in the SEC, which will make it difficult for Mississippi State to rack up a lot of extra yards after making a catch.

The last time Rogers was held to 300 yards or less was in a 49-9 loss to Alabama. He was sacked for a season-high seven times in that game as well.

If the Hogs’ can get Rogers in a hurry and force him to make early throws, they’ll likely be able to tackle them and keep them from picking up major yardage. Eventually, Rogers will make a mistake and one of the fantastic secondary defensive backs will pick the sophomore quarterback off.
