This past Saturday, the Arkansas Razorbacks lost to Texas A&M in a game that was not as close as the final score suggested. Razorback fans still have something to hold onto halfway through the season.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are now 2-3 on the season with their last loss coming to Texas A&M. The game started great for the hogs, but got worse over time.

The energy on the season is still in a good spot, considering where this team was just last year. The Arkansas Razorbacks are finally playing meaningful games again.

While we don’t expect the Razorbacks to win every game now, we do expect them to compete and play hard every play.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are finally giving hog fans something to talk about in terms of football. It’s been a long, tough two years, but I think it’s safe to say we are back.

Halfway Through The Season

The Razorbacks have reached the halfway point of their 2020 season, and things have looked better than expected.

The season started with a bang, as the hogs went into a halftime against Georgia with a great feeling. The outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, but it was improvement and that’s all fans wanted to see.

In week two, Razorback fans found themselves celebrating their first win against an SEC team in two years. That’s a long time between celebrations. The hogs got it done against Mississippi State and beat the “Air Raid”.

The next week, Razorback Fans, and other fans as well, were heart felt for the hogs. A game that should have been counted as a win for the Razorbacks was stolen by the referees. Most everyone believed Arkansas should had beaten Auburn, but the refs thought differently.

The Razorbacks used their anger from that game, to fuel their fire against Ole Miss. They were a force to be reckon with as they shut down an offense that averaged 40 points a game. Hudson Clarke and Grant Morgan put on a show defensively, and the Razorbacks started to get a little more recognition.

Arkansas rooming high off the win and a bye week went into College Station and got beat down. But that doesn’t have to be a negative. The Razorbacks competed on every play, and that’s all hog fans asked for.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are sitting at 2-3 on the season, but in most everyone’s eyes it has already been labeled a successful one. It seems that Sam Pittman has turned around Chad Morris’s disaster, and made Arkansas Football fun again.
