In a game that felt like it lasted 12 hours, Arkansas battled from behind to beat Bryant.

In their opener against Bryant, the Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team struggled a bit in the beginning. As I sat watching the game, I couldn’t help but think about this pre-game article done by Derek Millsap and how good the Bryant pitcher is.

Bryant’s James Krinchak is a pre-season All-American and he lived up to his hype. Krinchak not only held the Hogs scoreless for six innings but made it look like he was just toying with the Razorback batters.

Arkansas trailed 3 to 0 all the way until the bottom of the 6th inning and then Arkansas didn’t just get on the board but exploded on offense. The Hogs went from 0 runs to 10 runs in a single inning.

Karinchak held his own against the Hogs until they finally broke the damn with a double on the first pitch by Evan Lee, who sent Bonfield and Koch to the plate. Carson Shaddy came up and tied it at 3 off of an RBI single. After that, it went downhill fast for Bryant.

Although the Hogs took the lead and never let it go, it did get a little scary for them at the end. Bryant went from down by 7 with the score at 10-3, to down by 3 at the end of the game. It was safe to say that Arkansas was just happy to get the win and get out of there by the end of it all.

The Razorbacks look to get the win in the series tomorrow. The first pitch will be at Baum Stadium at 2 p.m. If you can’t make the game in Fayetteville, check out WatchESPN or the SEC Network alternate channel to watch. Woo pig.
