Arkansas is a mystery wrapped inside an enigma. It seems that the fewer players they have available, the better they are on the floor.
With Adou Thiero out with a hyperextended knee suffered in the win against Mizzou, Arkansas is down to only seven scholarship players available for tonight's game against Texas. The injury couldn't have happened at a worse time, as the Hogs and Horns are both bubble teams desperate for wins, with the regular season quickly coming to an end.
However, the Hogs are playing on fire. Through the first half, they shot 46 percent from the floor, 58 from three-point land, and knocked down 11-14 free throws. But most impressively, it's who's making the shots. Trevon Brazile needed to step up with Thiero out, and boy, has he.
Brazile — along with Texas' Tre Johnson — led all scorers going into the locker room with 10 points, including two three-point buckets to ignite the Razorbacks' offense. He is nearly perfect, going 4-5 from the field, 2-3 from downtown, and has a game-leading six boards. Brazile is so in the zone that he's dunking on everyone, even his own teammates.

The Hogs still have 20 minutes to go in the game. Hopefully, Brazile and the rest of the Razorbacks can keep the same pace going through the second half.
