Arkansas continues to struggle with teams with less talent. However, it was able to pull away again for a double-digit win over UTSA today, 75-60.

The Razorbacks are one of the hardest teams to watch in the first half. Today, they started the game sluggish. There was no energy on the court, on the sidelines, or in the stands, and it allowed UTSA to head into the locker room up five points at halftime. Luckily, the Hogs scoring leader in the first half turned it up a notch in the second period.

Adou Thiero continues to dominate on the offensive end of the court with 17 second-half points after leading the team with nine in the first. He finished with 26 points, while Johnell Davis finished second with 13 points while knocking down three of his five treys.

While it's great to see Thiero's highlight dunks over and over again, Davis finally getting hot from deep could be a turning point for this team. Arkansas has been missing a legitimate scoring threat from the arc, and Davis was supposed to be that player. Now that he's gotten back into a rhythm, it could open the offense up more for Thiero and the others to make plays, too.

Boogie Fland had another off-game. He put up the most shots on the team but couldn't connect most of the time. Especially as a freshman, that's going to happen.

Arkansas will have its final high-major opponent on Tuesday against Michigan. Then, after a few more prep games, the Razorbacks will start conference play against Tennessee.
