The Hogs are rolling.
At the beginning of the season, Arkansas had a problem putting less-talented teams away. Lipscomb, Pacific, and Little Rock all gave the Razorbacks fits in the first half of their games. However, Arkansas has now started quickly in three consecutive games and put the latter two away quickly.
As bad as the game got for Central Arkansas, today was even worse for the North Carolina A&T. Arkansas scored 54 points in the first half, and only one Razorback (Trevon Brazile) was in double figures. However, the Hogs finished with seven of their eight rotation players scoring double-digits points.
It's evident the chemistry is starting to build. Arkansas's freshman phenom, Boogie Fland, only scored 12 points today, but he had 11 assists. Brazile and Aidoo are still bringing the energy in the paint with 20 boards and six blocks combined.
Arkansas will have one more game before the end of the year against Oakland, the last team John Calipari lost to as the head coach of Kentucky. Then, the Hogs will start SEC play against Tennessee on January 4 in Knoxville.
