Nearly everyone in the SEC had a good week except for two losing teams. However, the SEC power rankings changed significantly after a few impressive victories and a few poor performances.

The top two teams in the SEC power rankings—LSU and Georgia—stayed exactly the same from week one to week two, and in the basement of the SEC sits Kentucky, which also stays put. All thirteen other teams aren't as sedentary.

The two biggest movers are Florida and Vanderbilt. The Gators turned into USF's second victim on its ranked-team killing spree, which dropped Florida three spots and out of the top ten. On the other hand, the Commadores made a massive splash against Virginia Tech. After losing to South Carolina last week, the Hokies took on Vanderbilt. As if to put a large neon sign that says, "Last season wasn't a fluke," Vandy quarterback Diego Pavia led them in a second-half comeback that turned into a 44-20 beating.

Oklahoma and Tennessee move up a couple of spots, but for different reasons. Ole Miss and South Carolina both dropped, which propelled the Volunteers into the top five. However, Oklahoma took on Michigan and beat the Wolverines by double-digits.

Of course, the week two power rankings wouldn't be complete without talking about Mississippi State knocking off No. 12 Arizona State. The Bulldogs were something they haven't been in a long time: clutch. With only 30 or so seconds left and down by three, Blake Shapen hit Brenen Thompson for a 58-yard strike to effectively end the game.

Unfortunately for the Razorbacks, State jumped over Arkansas, putting it in second-to-last place in the SEC. That's not to say the Hogs have been bad; to the contrary, they've looked really good. It's the opponents they've faced. If Arkansas can prove it can beat up on more than just the small guys this weekend against Ole Miss, the Razorbacks could skyrocket up the power rankings.
