Athlon Sports names seven Razorbacks preseason All-SEC

There's not much going for the Hogs in the eyes of the National media. However, Athlon Sports released its preseason All-SEC selections last week, and you might be surprised at the number of Razorbacks on the list.

Arkansas football has eight Athlon Sports All-SEC selections. The All-SEC Hogs are led by First-Team selection Landon Jackson. Maybe the most important recruiting win of the season for coach Sam Pittman was convincing Jackson to return for another year.

The Hogs' eight selections include seven athletes and eight positions across four teams. The only positions to not earn a spot were quarterback and linebacker. However, by season's end, Talen Green might have something to say about that.

TE Luke Hasz, Second-Team Offense

OL Josh Braun, Second-Team Offense

PR Isaiah Sategna, Third-Team Specialists

RB Ja'Quinden Jackson, Fourth-Team Offense

WR Andrew Armstrong, Fourth-Team Offense

CB Jaylon Braxton, Fourth-Team Defense
